020 H7 HSS-E 02/04

Hand reamers made according to DIN 206 B. These are used for finishing holes in a final operation, to get an H7 tolerance on the hole. Before reaming, the holes have to be pre-drilled or CNC milled, in the compatible products tab, we list the correct drill size that is required. Officially this is a hand reamer. We use these in CNC machines also. The only issue is that you cant use hydro or crimp-style holders, because the back of the tool, has a square cross-section, which is required for hand use. This type of HSS reamer can be used for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and synthetic materials soft and hard. We use them in Aluminum 6060 and 6082 all the time. The slow helix type is suitable for interrupted borings, slots, cross borings etc.
